Why set yearly goals?
Most have heard about the Law of Attraction. The Law of Attraction is about manifesting results in your life you desire. If you desire a 9-figure business, then you manifest 9-figures in annual revenues based on the Law of Attraction.
The Law of Attraction has been around since at least biblical times (and likely before). In Matthew 7:7-8, Jesus states:
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.”
By being clear about your goals and acting towards their attainment, you achieve those goals.
In the mid-1800s, Ralph Waldo Emerson helps simplify the Law of Attraction by stating: “You become what you think all day long.” Literally, you attract what you think about. If you think about it often and regularly, then you are more likely to manifest it in your life.
Wallace Wattles then publishes his pivotal wealth-creation book in 1910, The Science of Getting Rich. There, he teaches how to manifest wealth through the Law of Attraction. Of course, we’re all familiar with Napoleon Hill’s classic Think and Grow Rich, where Hill tell us to recite his Self-Confidence Formula daily. In reciting his formula, we affirm to ourselves: “I have clearly written down a description of my definite chief aim in life.” In today’s terms, this means we have written down our goals. And we are taking daily action towards the attainment of those goals.
So, how does this relate to yearly goal achievement. It has everything to do with it! You must “think” about your goals in specific terms and frequently. By frequently thinking about your goals, you discover the ways and means for achieving those goals. As Jesus confirmed, God will help you find the way. The first three steps are being clear about what you want to achieve, writing it down, and then thinking about it daily. By using our Contract Sprint Yearly Goals Form, you will do just that. Don’t let your Yearly Goals collect dust. Review it daily. Think about it daily. Take action towards their attainment. What you do today determines your future results.
